Hazar.. i understand where you are coming from .. i treat everyone with the same respect .. regardless if they're Newcomers or seasoned Gurus like yourself .. if they are nice to me .. i treat them as such .. but if someone crticizes me without it being constructive.. i will reply in the same manner .. you can tell he did not want to help.. he just wanted to put me in my place.. my name may have the word "Noob" in it .. but trust me.. im not as naive as may think .. if he wanted me to show respect.. he has to do the same.. plus.. i did not go out of my way to criticize him.. he came to me ..
Well, you both have your opinions. I'm asking you to keep them both at bay for the sake of productivity in this forum. Thank you.
no problem at all.. i cherish this forum.. i do not come here to make enemies or argue.. but because of the past week or so.. many people have decided to judge me without getting to know me .. i come here to learn form Gurus like 911medic and you .. all i ask is for people to give me a chance to prove myself before judging me and criticizing me .. i treat everyone the same.. i do not kiss up or treat newcomers with disrespect .. i treat everyone as Human .. regardless of their status on the forum ..
Thanks for your work mate!=D Is it possible to have all the files uploaded to megaupload? I am having problems with depositfiles as a free user.=(
The x64 images don't work. The product key is incorrect for the x64 version of XP. Additionally, the oembios.* and the winnt.sif files belong in the amd64 folder, not the i386 folder.
looking forward to seeing if the so-called "win xp pro sp2 64-bit retail" is a genuine OEM. as we know, there is no "retail" for sp2-64-bit, only VOL (and maybe OEM ... the disc labelled theoretically as "CRMPXOEM_EN"). anyway, great post, thanks! i am not sure what the OEM_mades are good for.. :-?
yah, good idea.. since i have an untouched x64-sp2 disc now (CRMPXVOL_EN.iso; thanks to this forum!!) and some cool Genuine Advantage Validation cr*ck (for Windows and for Office) and a keygen (Microsoft.Windows.XP.Professional.x64.Corporate.Keymaker.Only-AGAiN.rar) and 2 VLK's (from the www) plus a MUI Pack for my language, i should be all set (in theory). i am still looking for an untouched x64-sp2 OEM disc .. but i might not need it. we will see!
The WINNT.SIF file contains the SLP key so one wont be needed during setup and the computer name XPPRO is created using the same file, which I forgot to remove this line before I upped the files, as I used my own disk's file. Will edit out the computer name line and reup the files.
The key beginning with DMQBW is HEWLETT-PACKARD XP PRO some oem slp key can work with various manufacturers but i am surprised with the HP one working with Gigabyte as for the MS i honestly don't think they work on all especially older manufacturers. if that was the case there would only be MS key in VLK and OEMBIOS changer.
Thanks urie for the quick reply...and for the clarification for the DMQBW key. I thought it was odd also, but wow....I didn't realize the DMQBW key was an HP SLP key. Now I'm very curious as to why it passed all of the WGA tests on a Gigabyte motherboard. My GA-8IPE1000Pro-G motherboard does have the 6C0C2E95 SLP string in its BIOS (checked with the OEMBIOS v1.1 tool). I downloaded a couple of other ISO files ELITEGROUP-8EE1223C.OEM and GATEWAY.eMACHINES-C86378C7.OEM and they also have the DMQBW key inside the WINNT.SIF file. Does this HP SLP key need to be changed (once XP is activated) to the M$ OEM key? Or should the M$ SLP key be inserted into the WINNT.SIF file (as mentioned in Suicide Solution's directions - Step #6)? Is there a chance that M$ could blacklist the DMQBW key and invalidate the ISO's that iamanoob spend so much time to create & upload (or cause WGA to fail in a future update)? Many thanks for your assistance and clarification. kegger ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update.... After reading through some of Suicide Solution's other posts, I found a link for other OEM SLP keys. I is a correct solution...to insert the OEM key of your branded motherboard in lieu of the M$ or DMQBW key. (search for XXXXX-OEM-0011903 on Google). I found a Gigabyte key (beginning with C873T). I eagerly await everyone's reply and guidance. kegger.
