Windows XP: Security after "End of Life"...

    So many XP fans but no more Microshaft security patches !

    Many XP POSReady 2009 updates can be used for XP and of course someone made an unofficial service pack 4, but security is becoming an issue for XP users.

    Running XP in a virtual machine is not an option because it defeats the purpose;

    Using a light weight Windows NT for great performance on low-end and underclocked hardware.

    I'm looking for ideas to tighten security on the XP platform.

    Any suggestions ? :)
