kmeleonbrowser dot org/forum/read.php?12,141988 there are some updates that you will not get at microsoft updates, you can only download from the microsoft update catalog. make your own link as I only have one post,
I guess I'm a bit late for the party but I was wondering if there was actually a pack with all updates. I'm going to use nLite to slipstream updates into XP SP3 image but I wouldn't want to download these updates manually. I looked over WUD - Windows updates downloader and their latest pack is from 2015, but microsoft released many more updates since then. Is there like a pack to download them all?
There is a updated lists for both XP SP3 x86 and XP SP2 x64, they are dated 27th June 2017! You will need to rename the extension from .zip to .ulz, so that it will work with WUD.
I just used the update lists and WUD gives me some errors that some files are not available anymore. Should I be worried or is it normal?
I would not worry about it. Remember updates do get replaced buy new ones and M$ may be removing them.
Microsoft Catalog and/or Wayback (Web Archive). BTW, WUD "ULZ" are simply ZIP's of XML's, so the direct links are given inside (use them for Wayback if need be).
I further clarified my wording in my previous post: The true XP Embedded is also not supported by WOU. Only the original XP (Home, MediaCenter, Pro) SP3, with the 9.2.4 ESR version. The reason for the WOU ESR is that MS sometimes seems to release some emergency patches despite XP or Office EOL.
In short: no access to files on a drive that was formatted with a different OS (for example, in multiboot setups).
