    Hello everyone,

Got my hands on an old no brand name Windows XP Service Pack 3 computer.
It starts and runs okay ( OFF LINE ).
I would like to give it some new life by giving it a clean install. Purchased a Windows XP Dell Reinstall Disk but it will not boot from the CD / DVD Player installed. I even tried downloading a clean copy of Windows XP Service Pack 3 from Archive.org onto a pen drive but the machine will not boot from that either. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Boot from USB? Put HDD in another machine, format it and install it manually with WinNTSetup?
