Windows7 Office genuine advantage notifications released via WU

Strange ... this update does show on my 32bit Vista Ultimate & 32bit Win7 system, but not on my X64 Vista Ultimate systems (x2) ...? Is this normal?

 

We at microsoft believe you must install programs whenever we want. We can monitor everything you do as long as u use our software, remember you agreed to it in the EULA. Our intrest at microsoft is far more important than you the user. We wouldnt want you to actually have something that works, because why would you ever need something new. People only need something new as long as our half ass products exist and dont work. So I can guaranty you we will never make anything that works for you as good as it does for us.

 

Installed it yesterday from WU on freshly installed Windows 7 Ultimate / MSO 2007 Enterprise SP2.
Simple System Restore, and "hide this update" on WU are doing the job (for the moment...)

 

But you have to accept the EULA i have read in the MDL news, right?

That should be the warning for all of us to NOT to accept the EULA and to install this update!

 

This is an OGA update for Office. Anyway, there seems to be a cr*cked copy of OGACheckControl.dll 2.0.0048.0 over at PCBeta but You have to register to get it

 

can anyone post this from pcbeta anywhere id register but it seems you need a invite unless someone wants to invite me

also the fix on the supremophantom.blogspot.com does not pass validation after this update on the blue or enterprise editions. it will remove the nags but still does not pass the oga check

just restored both systems that got hit with this to a previous state and hid the update.. we for sure need to figure out a option for this though and hopefully soon

i use some programs that specifically need ms office so i cant go to open office

I'm very very proud to have it 100000000% pir8 Office 2007, I saw the update yesterday, so I laugh hard like never before and no laugh has been there and installed it.

After over 24h I still cannot stop to laugh, and is still working perfectly fine!

I hope I can stop laughing or I will die.

It is the same type of trick that you have to use for all the Adobe CS 4 applications like Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Illustrator for example. All you really need is key gened serial number and this string of commands added to the host file basically prohibits it from validating on a manufacturers server to verify authenticity.
