you should really use Daz loader if you want his features, this project is more about getting other people started with programming .net, and Daz is clearly territorial about his ideas. if v0.95 is not public then I cannot add it sorry.
nononsence I dont think it's his idea (No offence Daz). it is something alot of users suggested, many users want to make the alt/forceful loader mode of zsmin loader the default because it's the only mode that works for them.. and it's not something new (Napalum loader also has loader mode options). this project is open source, users can help and add code/suggest/fix things to make the program better (like PAYMYRENT code). I really like this open 7 act*vator because it's: Very small (500kb!. smaller then Daz loader) Very fast! (the installation procces to took only 10 seconds, faster then Daz program) and working very well. when zsmin glrdr v0.95 be public, will you add it?
adding v0.95 will be as easy as replacing file 1 and 2 in the resources folder, I will think about the default loader modes. what modes do you suggest. you can also get Visual Studio 2008 and change the GUI and add any features you like, and use it however you like. you dont have to share your code if you dont want to, you dont have to give me credit. just try to learn somthing. If you do post some code dont get upset if you find someone else has used it.
Simon (zsmin) is a pretty amiable guy and if you want to put his grldr in your application, just PM him and he will give it to you, hell I have my own folder on his NAS specially for my custom compiled grldrs he makes for me

I havent touched Visual Studio in 15 years, and every thing has changed I was able to come up with this with just google searches and msdn.

Im completly cluless, I had some issues with Open 7 Activator.vbproj Form1.resx Form1-en-us.resx and had to edit by hand to make stuff work. does this happen with the compiled I posted to.
everytime i tried the compiled one you posted it didnt do it but it has something to do with the background worker maybe put a busy = true at the begining of the get_os sub and a busy = false at the background worker run worker completed sub
I thought it was a bad WMI query for XP so stoped that query on unsupported OS's, your solution did stop the crash on XP. did it fix the debuging issue? I did a little more reading and RCW are also used with WMI. I still cant recrate the problem
no i still get the debugging issue no matter how many times i try and stop the background worker before it closes i just thought of something ill test it and tell you if it worked or not nothing i do works to stop the debugging error oh well
