Has anyone gotten this to work with a Gigabyte motherboard that uses Hybrid EFI? In my case it's H67MA-UD2H-B3. I know how to do it with MBR installs, but if somebody can help me out for UEFI that would be awesome.

Tried that, but the standard procedure doesn't work for my Gigabyte H67.

I do have Windows 7 UEFI, but need the WindSLIC activation to work.

And what is "standard procedure" for you?

    What have you actually tried?

    Hi all.

I see this is an old thread, but I thought I'll try anyways. I have an hp proliant dl380 g6 server that I am using, running server 2012 R2. It does not have an U/efi bios so I am using the older version of windlsic to inject the dell 2.3 slic. Windows activates ok but I get the 1058 event code. Using rw everything there is no msdm table tab. I am assuming this is the reason for the 1058 event code. Is it possible to to use the original windslic to inject the msdm table? If so could someone give me some direction as how to go about this. I have not been able to figure this out. I have also tried bios modding this machine, but from what I have researched it is not possible to do it. Any help with this would be really appreciated.

    Thanx in advance.

    Hi Tito

Thank you for the response. I knew I could safely ignore it. I was just curious if there was a way to inject an msdm table using windslic to get rid of the annoyance. I believe I could also remove it from the event logs, it was just more fun learning.
