Excuse me, I have just bought a Dell system with Free Dos OS, so I can't find the Slic table, people said that It is UEFI Bios, so unable to use service tag utility to reset Service tag (to enable slic 2.1). so how can? I am sorry because my english is not good enough to understand above tut, may someone help me to unlock slic of my UEFI bios? please help me!, my email is [email protected]
Dell Inspiron N4110 Bios Phoenix EFI I tried Everest to find any information about slic, but there is nothing.... I have another N 4110 (diffirent chipset and VGA) which preinstalled windows 7 (already has slic 2.1), both them have the same Bios version (A11). I have created an executable file of Bios (older machine) by DELL Client Configurations ToolKit... what can I do with this one?
haha.. No, I dislike loader, it contents some risk that always difficult to analyze so, i will use the modded bios and waiting for a new version of software like service tag reset more safety, right? anyway, thanks so much indeed
It contains no such thing. Why do you think it passes AV tests and nobody has ever reported issues since 2009? The most AV's tend to say is that it's a keygen, and they'll state "NOT.A.VIRUS" too. Seems to me like you've no idea how a loader actually works.
@Daz Well its seems to me too... He doesn't 'like' loader, but intends to use this UEFI SLIC injector which is somekind of loader itself.
does the external loader block connection to genuine checking system? or delete the activation notifier? I don't know. So, is "keygen" (loader) the same as bios that has been injected slic 2.1? Can I update bios normally after use modded bios without losing slic ?
Guys, after 2 Weeks finally i can say i did it cause of that autoinstaller i dont know what to say... THX so much to those who make this prog and has uploaded Greetings from Germany THX!
Offtopic: Where can I found a similar "slic" for office as well, since it seems on GPT partitions niether office will work with classic releases.
Any idea how i would image windows with windslic on it and restore it to an activated state? I tried IFW and Acronis TI but after i restore windows it is in trial mode. I guess because the EFI partition is hidden and it cant back it up. But how is the EFI partition there after i restore then? Maybe the imaging software creates a EFI partition after restore and copies over the original bootmgfw.efi to it? Very annoying because if i would image windows today when it is activated with windslic and then 40 days later i restore windows from backup it would tell me that windows has expired because i did not activate it during 30 days.
Bad news, i came home today and i see "This copy of Windows is not genuine". I don't know how that happened, but i remember now that it also happened a few weeks ago too, i booted my pc and noticed that Windows reported "23 days to activate". Hmm.... i am thinking to do bios (EFI) slic instead but i haven't decided yet what to do.
