It might, it might not. You will not know till you try it. As it does not replace anything then you can always backtrack if it does not work.
Hi, had the same problem than the user you helped, has a lenovo too (ThinkPad one), but in my case, it just won't work. I made the bootable USB key and all, but the /CLRMARK gives an error (operation not complete) and the SETMARK too ("marker already here"). A Magdiag report says that my "BIOS valid for OA 2.0: yes, but no SLIC table". Tried several times, still get the same result. And the toolkit of course says it can't dump and that SLIC couldn't be found. So here am I, with no SLIC table and apparently no efficient way to insert one. What can I try now ?
My lappy is a ThinkPad X230 Ivy Bridge, bought very recently off Lenovo. Also, in case it could change something, it's an european one (though I'm not sure there's any difference besides the keyboard and installed windows version). It came pre-installed and pre-activated with Windows 8 Home Premium and I'm trying to get Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 to activate. I could go the RemoveWAT way, but I'd like to try something "cleaner" first.
Don't use RemoveWAT; its a crap. There is no Home Premium edition of Windows 8. Its better to use Professional/Enterprise edition of 7 and use Microsoft Toolkit.

Select 'WindSLIC' entry to boot... not Windows Boot Manager. You can also opt for a permanent bios mod.
Yap. Basically Daz's loader only installs Asus cert and key as you already have Asus SLIC. Please post a screenshot of Daz's loader.
