    any one tried this version of xp?

    i wonder any possiblity to make a oem cd for this edition.

    I use it all the time. It requires the same VLK keys as used on normal version of corporate XP.

    The setup uses a WIM file format like Vista. You must use a specific Longhorn beta version of imagex (was called ximage back then) to mount the WIM. I cant remember the exact build, but I have this backed up somewhere.

    I have thought about trying to do this before myself. If modifying setup cant be figured out, one might have to do a normal install 1st, convert it to SLP OEM, make sure it activates, then reimage the drive.

    Go ahead and update it to SP3 while your at it because I cant find a slipstreamed copy of this newer than SP2.
