Thanks. But the reason I only introduced those PE Builders (Win10XPE, Win10PE_SE, Win8.1SE, Win8PE SE and Win7PE SE ) in the OP is because they are user-friendly. To make it easy for (almost) anybody to build one. :)

  2. Hmm brother :) Thanks .

  3. Brother what about wimbuilder2 by slorelee as its also a user firndly project with graphical interface & user just have to select the source iso then click on play button . tested 19592 iso today & worked fine without any issue.
Please also mention as option to use Pebakery with chrispe of win10xpe for a PE build cuz winxpe creates a recovery based environment [RE] iso.

    Thanks, @freddie-o

In fact, the latest developments on TheOven.org don't make things any easier, so I really wouldn't mind if you would just stick to ChrisR's excellent Win10XPE project.
It's the most user-friendly (which is not the same as "easy"), and isn't drowning itself in complicated options and weird politics.

I think Win10XPE is the best option for MDL users.

The actual developer of the W10XPE package, @chrisr, isn't around much anymore on that forum, anyways. Mostly lack of free time, I think, and also because he was tired of all the politics and rude behaviour there.

But as long as he supports the W10XPE package, and (hopefully) provides an updated package a few times a year, there's no problem.

If downloading the latest package is a problem, I'm sure some sort of mirror is possible. I know @Enthousiast has provided some help on that front before...

    Thanks, LostED.
Well, only Win10XPE is the "Original ChrisR" release, and thanks for confirming the checksums.

The other ones are "somewhat updated" packs, but not 100% original ChrisR releases.
Still, good to know you have backups of the releases, thanks again!

Yes, if it's just a basic build without the need for extra plugins. I was able to successfully build one yesterday. ADK files I think are downloaded from MS.

The ADK files have to be downloaded (only once) because Microsoft doesn't allow these files to be distributed in the pack. This is actually a good thing, as you can be 100% sure they're safe.
The download is done with GetWAIKTools, created by another PE legend, "JFX" (he also created WinNTSetup).
GetWAIKTools uses a very clever technique to download only specific ranges from the large ADK files, that is why it can fetch the needed files in mere seconds.
