I have switched to the standard nvme express driver vs samsung nvme controller driver. Things are slower per winsat for both read and write speed. I replaced a 970 Pro with a 980 and the numbers throughput wise for disk performance with winsat are slower This is also after the upgrade to 22624.1610 and having to re-bitlocker the drives after Dude, you are overdoing things and not understanding how you bench. Benchmarking OS drive is useless as it usually doing other things. These benchmarks are highly tied not to your SSD but CPU single core speed and temperatures that moment and if you luckly the governor will treat winsat as priority task and give a fastest core for this old epeen test. Your real performance is not affected. Use the PC.
I hope at least after update you remember to reinstall AMD Chipset driver package, it it alters registry to have proper boost working, and that actually changes single core speeds again. You can look it in installer log on change deltas. Doing build update doesn't keep those settings intact, you have to reinstall a lot of things due to registry settings being reset. Not sure what exactly you debunked here... it is an expected behavior, you just cannot maintain your PC properly here as don't take into account the changes and how SSD react to benchmarking. This whole thing is going into the forest without wood.
After the new build 22624.1616, results seem to be similar to previous builds..... Sorry for the not remembering the code or spoiler features. But performance wise, no real change from 22621 to 22631 from what I can tell. There is variability built into the tools and that seems to be what is shown
