Hello Mr developer of this tool, today morning I downloaded the latest version and tried 3/4 times to see what's inside it but it crashed several time. any suggestion? thanks, sid_16.
Few questions: Does the older version work? Are there any error messages? Or does it just crash? What Operating System are you running? Regards, The Dev.
Same with the previous version. Please don't worry for me and I'm happy that other people got benefited with your software. thanks, sid_16.
No the image doesn't show lol, but no worries. I'll talk to my buddies and see what is causing it. Regardless of one person not being able to use my software it still bothers me, so thanks for reporting the issue regardless. Regards, The Dev.
I am unable to reproduce any type of crash on about 6 or 7 machines that i use personally - some are clean others have ran older versions - this is very odd Dev ill try some more
Well TheDev and I are going through and updating some UI elements to look slightly nicer and adding more UI elements . we hope you enjoy as this and many more changes are coming in the next release
Warning to everyone, me, Humphrey and PAYMYRENT has a laugh over this one, please resist changing OS font size to 125% else your eyes may bleed.
This is Windows 8 that sets Display to 125% (Which Default is what mine says.) Changing it to 100% will solve that font problem. Edit: Since I have a 50 inch screen at 1920x1080- it could be that Windows 8 sets it as default so that things are just a bit bigger. Anyone with a smaller screen and Windows 8 (as hard installed OS) should chime in here whether or not 125% is the actual default or just what mine is set as cause I have such a big screen.
A total guess- try running sfc /scannow thrice (if the first one won't be successful). BTW David, the log files (in previous version) won't help here?
Why? I think my system is running well as far as I know and for your information I did the scan twice, here is the result. Code: Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7601] Copyright (c) 2009 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved. C:\Windows\system32>sfc/scannow Beginning system scan. This process will take some time. Beginning verification phase of system scan. Verification 100% complete. Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations. C:\Windows\system32>sfc/scannow Beginning system scan. Well I did say that it was a guess Do you have any language pack installed? Did you try to disable your antivirus software temporarily and check again? Did you try to disable UAC, restart and run it again as administrator? Did you try to run it from safe mode?
Update: This is about the application files created in "/My Documents/WinTK". AppConfig.ini, Background.wtk and the new stored language settings will be migrated into one XML file read on startup. Also, I'm moving all static strings into declarations to free memory and improve performance. With the XML file, RGB support will be added for global background color, so the settings dialog will have some pre-added colors, but also giving you the chance to edit the XML file to your choice of background color. Regards, The Dev.
It would be problematic if the issue he encounters happening before the ExLog thingy is coming to action..
