    Greeting all,

I have stumbled upon this thread by accident while traversing MDL site. Is there a trick to run this application? I down load the version 1.8, unzip it and run the .exe file, not a thing happen. I try to run in a Windows7 Pro 32bit at work (just to get a feel until I get home). Checking the processes but don't see any reference to the WinUSB Maker. I possibly overlook something simple, but could not think of any. Thanks.

    Hi Josh,
Only one possible reason I could think that application does not run because the computer at work needs a "special" admin right to run some apps. I know I have admin privl and can install many apps on it. It just a possibility, might not be true though.

Nevertheless, will try out with the computer when get home tonight. Thanks.

    Shrink4g,
    the first page says
    * .NET Framework v4.0 is required

that's where you problem might lye, make sure your system has .NET Framework v4.0 Installed
you may see it available on the Windows Updates

    racky29,
You've had hit the right note! I knew was missing something. After installing .net4, the application was working. I done this with my PC at home. Will try at work tomorrow. I am going to find a usb and put w7 (32&64) on it. Thanks.

Thanks Josh for a very useful app. Though I have not put it to the full use yet, but based on testimony from other, I will be thrill. Thanks again.

I'd love to have a working WinXP USB bootable, thanks!
I tried many apps, none works 100%... Please, also make an option to install XP in a secondary partition, so we can install and dual boot Win7 & WinXP on pre installed Win7 laptops
    TIA

Can I use this with any iso, or can it only be used with a Windows 7 iso/dvd/setup folder?
