    7-zip is simpler and extracts almost anything even exe files

    It is open source too

    Try beta version for updates

    If the exe file is one of those self-extractors, yeah.

    I use WinZip 15 Pro for compression ratio
    and use WinRAR for SFX, No issues about payment cause I *cough*Reverse Engineered them*cough*

    I thought Winrar was free unless you paid them :p...lol Actually IR4 was SFX until 3.0 when we got all code into one .ahk file

    This is old news kinda, but WinRar 4.0 is available. Decent update to the 3.93. WinRar for me over winzip.

    WinRAR 4.0 is only beta at the moment as for winzip neverused it since i started using WinRAR years ago :)

    None of them. 7-Zip 9.20

    But WinRar is not bad
    WinZip sucks

    WinRAR, best out there, fastest and easy to use in my personal experience.

    7zip in work seems ok too I guess for a freebie.

    IDK if winzip and 7zip have the option to create a set of rars though, like dividing an 800mb file into 16 x 50mb archives as not used them to that extent just yet.
