This is what I tried last time that happens to me...;)

    Solution 1

Try in run line, (without quotes) "cmd /k netstat" if window doesn't stay open update & run your AV.

    Solution 2

Under the Command Prompt Properties, edit it to read as follows:
Edit the Target line to read:
    %SystemRoot%\System32\cmd.exe
And the Start in line: C:\
If this does not correct it, run a search, you should have about three
copies on your hard drive, the one you are activating may be corrupt.
You can copy and paste them back and forth for they are all about 380kb.
    Some days you're the windshield,
    some days you're the bug.

    Source [WWW]

    Solution 3 [recommended]

Go to start button and type "sfc /scannow" without quotes and on the result rightclick run as admin or you can also hit ctrl+shift+enter wait to process to finish. ;)

    Hi!

I can't seem to get past the "10 attemts" problem.

I've tried a bunch of times now, even tried replacing my key with the one that WOAT supplies.

Still can't get it to activate. Do I have to try another solution, or is there something I can do to make WOAT work?

What is the reason for it not being able to activate? It's a local KMS, right? Shouldn't it work with the supplied key?

Anyway, great work! And thank you so much for all your hard work! :D

    [EDIT]
Trying to activate Windows 7 Enterprise SP1

I tried the latest version of WOAT on Office 2010 (computer running XP). It works great on my computer (Win 7) but on the XP machine I get the DOS window and then it closes before I can choose anything. I have admin rights on this computer so that is NOT the problem. Any suggestions? Office has expired and is now in a limited mode.

how exactly do I WOAT to validate my windows 7? in the activation status the key appears as licensed but when I go to the Microsoft web page it tells me that my evaluation copy has expired and I need a new key.
what other steps do I need to follow?
also if anybody can point me to a place to easily download removeWAT would be highly appreciated.

You are using an RC version of windows 7 i,e, evaluation copy you need to download RTM or windowqs 7 sp1 version and format and reinstall.

Thanks for your FIX, works even with Windows Thin PC. In case other people haven't found out, can you add this to KMS Activation Support please?
BTW, I noticed in the Activation Status Check page which says activation interval is 120 minutes, so will this FIX reactivate my windows automatically or I have to do it myself after each 180 days?
    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,
    Ty

KMS regenerates an activation request every 7 days and continues every 2hrs (120 mins) until it activates and then the process starts again. If your system is turned off or there is no current KMS server, your license will expire in 180days.

Thanks Tr:) So I guess this a perfect, worry-free Fix. Everything is done on its own.

Just curious, I cannot find kms.exe when I exit WOAT. I'm not good at computing things, but I'd like to know where the kms.exe is hiding so it can regenerate the request every 7 days. And also can I delete or zip WOAT once the activation succeed?

Look at the root of your system drive for KMSEMUTEMP. I am not quite sure if DARKOR04 deletes the files or not. Also run your Task Manager and see if KMS is running. I keep my KMS.EXE within my system32 folder and have it running all the time as a scheduled task I created.
