Does this use the new Dell key?

    Hi,

I've looked into what WOW7 does in detail and I have some questions about the details:

    1. Is WOW7 using an unmodified clean GRUB4DOS? (I've seen its using GRUB4DOS 0.4.4 2008-08-08. There is already a GRUB4DOS 0.4.4 2009-03-31. Is this version incompatible with WOW7 itself?)

    2. Does the wow.exe only loads the embedded SLIC table into memory? Will there maybe a version in the future which loads the SLIC data from an external file (instead of the embedded data in the .exe) for easy changing the SLIC Table?

    3. Is there any difference in how the SLIC table is loaded into memory between wow.exe and the single-file-modified grldr from w7ldr or other activ*tors? Where are the advantages of WOW7 SLIC table loading?

It would be cool, if someone could explain me these details :)

    Thanks in advance!

    trAsher :)

    Issues

Ok nevermind the below. I asked for a slic mod bios, hiei1ckf3i got me one very quick, i updated the bios and now the loading issue is gone! :) I am not sure whether or not the bios change or the bios reset fixed the problem though. For now i need to test this with the 7Loader after a new install(since they were nice enough to mod my bios!).

"I tired the 7Loader act*vator and when my computer reboots after, it just freezes on the loading screen and reboots again. If i put it into recovery mode, then it blue screens with an ACPI error.

So after failing at that, i tried another loader, it also crashed the PC. So i went on and tried WOW 7. The machine does reboot and it does show as activated(took me running it twice). The problem is now that the machine sits at the black loading screen(with windows 7 on it) for 5 or so minutes, then boots into windows.

I noticed some comments on a torrent site about that but no resolutions listed. Anyone have any ideas?

    Loading windows 7 ultimate
    MSI 761GM2-V
    AMD 3000+
    2 GB Ram
    Sata WD 74GB raptor
    onboard everything"

YAY! I tried all other loaders for my HP Mini 2140 and none worked. Finally, I tried this. Hallelujah! Activated Windows 7 RTM FTW.

question, will this work with Acer bios r01-b3 as with vista none of the loaders worked. And if it doesn't work, is there a way to remove it? I mean if I hang at startup, am I just screwed and reinstalling my system?

    Uninstaller doesn't work

    Hey guys,
loader makes windows to stuck with the windows logo.
With "F8" on the boot loader I disabled loading WOW and went into windows.
Now I tried to uninstall that program but nothing worked.

    That's the code:

    What's wrong with it?

There is no need to post the code, just ask.

That is the problem with a loader, one may not work on all PCs. Try 7Loader.

    it should work but ok.

Delete the files grldr and FLOPPY.IMG

How do you know if the uninstaller didn't work if it didn't activate anyway?

I see GRUB and Windows 98 loader on startup.
If WOW is loaded; Windows doesn't boot.
Only when pressing F8 and disabling loading of WOW System starts up.

Where can I find the 2 files?

Hazar's script is not running the bootsect command so the bootsector is
still pointing to the deleted file grldr, boot from a Windows 7 DVD and
choose repair my computer, choose command prompt and then type

    bootsect.exe /nt60 c:

that will reset the bootsector to point to bootmgr

    .
