Just to let you know: I upgraded Vista x64 on HP 6735s with all the newest patches from Windows Update, including KB960225 and KB958690. Did couple of system restarts, put it to standby (sleep), hibernate... and Vista is still activated.
What about WOW 6.01 and Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 SP1? Hi, This week I tried to test WOW 6.01 on a fresh Vista x86 SP1 Business edition installation on a virtual computer (with Virtual PC 2007 SP1) by using the WoW6.0.1_NOMBR_HP.exe program. It doesn't work! I've also tried the 5.2.2 version, and it's the same problem : Vista is not activated. Does anyone know why because it should work? I also tried all Vista Loader (2.2.0, 2.1.3 or 3.0.0.1) and all these versions work fine (Vista is well activated). There's something I don't understand ... In fact, I tried all these programs on a Virtual PC because I would like to activate Vista SP1 (x86 Business Edition) on my HP laptop (NX8220 with F.17 Bios version), and I prefer to do some tests before. All the Vista Loaders mentionned above do not work on my laptop (but they work fine on a Virtual PC)! I have not yet tried WOW 6.01 on my nx8220 and I hope it will work but I've some doubt now .... If WOW 6 (or 5) doesn't work on my laptop I will post an ACPIScope report and I hope someone can help me.

Hello I am new here on this Forum seeing as how I'm trying to get Windows Vista Ultimate to activate just like any other person...I have the same problem as quoted above... I have tried to run WoW6 I followed the instructions exactly as mentioned in the first page of this Thread and to no avail, "30 days remaining to activate" is still there... I will give my computer specs and attach an report to help with this issue... Any detailed step-by-step on what I should do next will be greatly appreciated, I will be checking back on this post every 30-60mins. sorry for double post but I also forgot to Mention that my OS is Windows Vista Home Premium... and I have this issue when i try to input the code to activate the key as you have put into the guide when loading up Command... >_<
