Faikee's picture shows an entry for "Update 2" which suggests the next update is called "Update 2", not 8.2. Update 2 is rumored to have the new start menu, but not the windowed metro apps, those would arrive in "Windows 9".
Can you at least give us a hint as to where you took this screenshot? Is that Facebook or ...? And maybe shows us a cleaner shot, without all the censorship...pls pls pls
You don't need rumors for that, they showed the Start Menu (which is a 7/startscreen hybrid) and Windowed Metro apps on Build this year which they said to be coming in a update for Windows 8.
They said the start menu was coming in an update to 8.1, yes, and the windowed apps were also coming "at a future date", they never explicitly said the windowed apps would come in an 8.1 update too! MJF's sources told her the Windowed apps were scheduled for Windows 9

Man, I finally got back online with my Vista, it did not like that KB 9355, No Blue screen but It just said " Dude, you really F Ked up this time, then all went black, but me and good old Vista are back, yaa hoo

What could core build of Windows 9? Most probably it will be built over NT 6.x, like it's predecessor. I still waiting NT 7.0 core. I wonder which will be released it? Or never released? Windows 9: NT 6.4, Windows 10: NT 6.5, Windows11: NT 6.6, Windows 20: NT 6.99...
MS surprise us from time to time. Who thought that after windows 8 will come windows 8.1 and more than this : windows 8.1 update 1 ?
From what I heard, Redmond still haven't decided it should be named 7.0 or 6.4, but it seems 6.4 is more likely ..... well, who knows?
