Completely impossible at this point hehe. There isn't a sha1 break happening this week or this year, that will effect the hash we get from WZ to MSDN. Future sure, right now, nope. Maybe in another 5 or 10 years.
He is not available ATM, busy checking byte-by-byte btween WZOR and MSDN editions to find out the difference(s).
Hi forum, there is some sfv patch to convert (or delta) "es_windows_8_1_x86_dvd_2707521.iso" to "es_windows_8_1_n_x86_dvd_2707938.iso" & "es_windows_8_1_x64_dvd_2707379.iso" to "es_windows_8_1_n_x64_dvd_2707939.iso" ? Thanks for your help
Np. It would have taken for ever for my to have done it from home so I RDP into a VPS and used its connection to get the ISO's from MSDN to make the conversions. Downloaded the iso's at around 35MBs.
Try copy/paste. I put it in a codebox now just added some trackers to the magnet link, perhaps it will work now... try re-copy into torrent client
You're absolutely right. A change in SHA1 might pose potential security threats. Nontheless, there're lots of possibilities that could affect SHA1 value such as erroneous during packet delivery. Thus, it's better for us to verify with and stick to original SHA1 value to guarantee software package integrity. Warm regards.
I don't believe a sha-1 has been faked for a file over 1gb EVER. Sha-1 are unidirectional hashes. In order to get to the end result, it has to travel through exactly the same data. It is theoretically possible to have 2 *different* files of the same Sha-1 value, but they'd be nowhere near the same size.
