Guess you don't realize what happens for GA: When windows RTM is signed-off, a gold-plated mother disc is made out of the RTM image: - DVD's will be produced out of this mother disc, for release on GA. - OEM's will receive the RTM image, and start production of their pre-install machines, for release in GA. So, how could anybody could come to the idea that the windows in GA would be different from the sign-off RTM image?
Like I said, who knows what MS is doing now, I know how things worked, is that still going to be happening now? lol MS tossed a curve ball or two at us, so I am a bit curious how it all turns out in the end. They do keep mentioning that RTM is "preview" and that is change from the normal MS itself, isnt it?
there is no doubt they are originals. For sure, it would be pretty off the wall to have all sha1 match except a few not available to be verified at MSDN. but who knows lmao
CoreSL is CoreSingleLanguage version. You can't add any LPs on this SKU, I think. CoreCS is CoreCountrySpecific version, which is related on one country. Both SKUs are OEMs.
LOL, I am tired of all these twisting to fuel their BS fantasies, there would be no end to it, after Oct 18, it would be Jan 16 when all pre-releases will expire. Bye!
My Windows 8.1 RTM x64 pro ISO sha-1:16D29B1EECCAB2C0C441ED7DF0B9DB5DE6771698 MD5:70365B4E7567FB6D0923B5B2B64ECC48 Which version is it? anyone pls.
first post of this thread has all the Sha1's. If yours isn't listed, perhaps it is a language not listed? you didn't specify what language it is. It is not any of the ones on the first post though
sorry, it is EN-US, I guess, I downloaded it from the thread LEAK: MICROSOFT.WINDOWS.8.1.RTM.X86/x64.ENGLISH.DVD-WZT on page 46 "fLOW." first link, but when I extracted, there wan WZ's Ballmer will be back file was not included in the pack, otherwise it is ok. activated it by windows 8.0 pro x64 legit key.
not in the list, is it because whole pack modified, (removed ballmer file), it gives different sha-1? iso/rtm still same?
the iso should always have same sha1 unless someone tampered with the iso or it become corrupt during download etc.
I copied and pasted usb windows 8.1 RTM's folders and files including set up into a folder on desktop and named it windows 8.1 then created from this folder one single iso on desktop by imgburn, then calculated that iso's sha1. I messed up? usb windows 8.1 contains: boot, efi, support, sources folders; autorun, bootmgr, bootmgr.efi files, and setup exe. Edit: I had deleted original iso after creating usb stick. that's why I made iso again to check hashes.
