you downloaded an iso, why would you extract it and make an iso again? The file you downloaded, the iso is what you check. do nothing to it.
hash checking is a process that goes through every single byte and runs it through a series of algorithms. If even 1 byte is different or out of place/sequence, the hash will be different. This is why it's so effective in checking if 2 files are the same. Repacking the iso would not give you a boot sector and would likely re-order the files and file-system settings. Someone who works at Microsoft might be able to duplicate the same file using just RTM extracted files, but I really doubt anyone else could. They don't tell everyone their mastering settings. I assume they use oscdimg with certain settings, but I have no idea if that's even true. Even if it was confirmed that they used oscdimg, it could possibly depend on a large number of other factors. Basically, just consider it impossible to fake a sha-1 by rebuilding an iso.
I see the point now, I think it had matching hash but I deleted the original ISO, so can not prove it, but I believe it is a real WZT leak, works flawless, I activated with legit 8.0 and WMC keys, office pro plus etc. I will update it when GA update available. thanks.
now, after specialist's new explanation links we know, that WZOR must have the ultimate Christal ball because he modified his pre-RTM leaks with hash data that fit exactly to the ones which came out days later on Technet and MSDN. Where can I purchase this ball?
So fair with us everything working fine but had a few problems with crossfire but all is well now and this beast is flying like s**t off a shovel ...
I'm waiting for somebody to confirm microsoft made Windows OS from roswell reverse engineering info .
