Try 2.40.0027 Same as Support Pack 5.0 DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION or breaks Sound and play without Sound in Tomb Raider 2013. With Onboard Sound no problems
Still no luck. also says the driver isn't digitally signed, but still after disabling device signing on startup, still get device cannot start.
@LDeacon Please download the properly signed 2.16.0008 driver. If still doesn't work, uninstall the driver, apply the registry fix for Secure Boot, restart and install the driver again.

Still saying it's not digitally signed, still not working after disabling that. I think it's because my device id isn't in the inf maybe? did you check the pastebin I posted previously to see if you could find it? Cheers.
@Tobse Strange, I'm running 21H1 and it works just fine. Will see if I own that Tomb Raider on Steam. Your device ID is in wdma_emu.inf: PCI\VEN_1102&DEV_000B&SUBSYS_A0161458 See yourself in the .inf file. Are you sure that you're trying to install version 2.16.0008? If you do, something is wrong with your system and I have no more suggestions for you, sorry.
Yeah no worries. The folder I have on my computer is named XFTI_PCDRV_L11_2_40_0019 - MODDED if that helps. Maybe that's the only driver that works?
Daniel, there's a game "Renegade X" which from time to time the sound gives a click and cuts completely until I restart game, after exiting it gives another small click\pop on the speakers and the sound card works again (Auzentech X-Fi Forte 7.1). But anyway it might be some kind of incompatibility with the game as it's a game being made for years by either 1 person or with the help of the community on Unreal Engine 3. Other games with UE4 I played for a few hours and the same didn't happen, but it seems that Renegade X is running on DX9, it might have problems with DirectX9, I have no idea because I don't have other games with DX9 to test as it's not used for many years...
@guily6669 Thanks for your report. The latest 2014 Forte driver is for Win8.1 (or Win8?), one needs to test the driver on the OS it was written for to see if it works properly. Sadly, MS is always breaking something on Win10, so it maybe an issue with the audio stack.
