Ok, a friend has 2 .iso files with XP (HP OEM) both named HP_OS_RESORE. One is 746 MB and the other one 527 MB (Home Edition). Which of these is the real deal? I suppose they're with SP2 integrated. Please help as my original CD is scratched! :sad3::confused:

To be honest it wont make any difference if you do not have an HP machine HP_OS_RESORE. 746 MB that will be factory restore cd it will install windows and all the garbage that you do not need i,e, virus checkers that are only demo versions e.c.t. The 527 MB (Home Edition) sound about rite but why even install sp2 when all information is available on forum to install SP3.

I have the XP drivers for my laptop on a flash drive, so that's no problem at all. ;)

No 527mb is about right if you dont want to re-create a customized image.
