Ok, I've made an OEM pro SLP image as per the instructions in the sticky. The OEMBIOS.exe detects several HP & COMPAQ strings in my BIOS,one of which I've used to make it.However, the Everest Ultimate showed up no SLIC in my BIOS.So is such an attempt to preactivate windows expected to work ?Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Windows XP uses the SLP string to Pre-activate windows not SLIC

SLIC is used on windows version 6 and above (example Windows Vista / Windows 7) to Pre-activate windows

To Pre-Activate Windows XP you need SLP Bios String + OEMBIOS Files + SLP Product Key
