XP retail to oem check

    Thanks, that good to know.
    So if you have a retail pro with all updates included, you can simply at the folder "cmpnents/MediaCTR" and use mce key. And MCE will be installed, according to what I read in a topic?

    That's correct. MCE is just a professional setup, the MCE key tell's setup to look for and install the Media Center addons.

    Thanks for offering. But I just got a retail XP, so no need to bother you with the scripts. Installation went perfect. Thanks again - it's much appreciated that you're so nice at helping out.
