The installer reports that the SLP product key is invalid.

This is even when the SHA1 sum is 11db0fd0dce5fb9295150f2f4e50ff5c99e670ae

It looks like i got a stinking "retail".....

    From here:

Another problem is that oem bios changer appears to be unsupported under x64. :(

Will replacing the OEMBIOS files and changing the setupp.ini string work?

I just edited the ISO with HP OEMBIOS files and changed the last part of setupp.ini to "OEM".

    That should work.
The issues we have had is that changing the files and such after install renders the os unbootable. It is unclear as to the reason, but since the x64 version is not supported by WGA, there is no genuine checks and you can use any key or type you wish (unless something has changed in the last little bit), we stopped the research on it. The changer would change the files, but then the os would be basically unusable. We tried many different approaches and nothing worked.

In short, you are stuck with what you install. The upside is that is should never be flagged as not genuine.

SLP product key still rejected by the installer. Just wasted another CD.
Is there anything else that requires editing?

Just got defeated with the same message. wtf?

Keeps rejecting the key no matter what.

And it appears to be looking for a COA key. I dunno if that's the correct mode..

If you used the delta that was provided from the link in your first post then you probably have
ARMPXFPP which is the SP1 version

I thought XP x64 was only available to OEM's and VL customers, not Retail.
