yellow exlamation mark

    i have a yellow exclamation mark in my network controller cant get my wireless working on my Toshiba sat pro l850 any 1 have any ideas on how to solve this problem any advice wud be great

    first make sure the wireless is turned on, next check that it has not been disabled, if those not the problem try to reinstall the wireless drivers.

    Sounds like a driver issue.

    Either go to the toshiba site and download the latest drivers.

    Plug the ethernet cable into the lappy and see if M.Soft updates finds the drivers.

    While ethernet cable plugged in right click on the yellow triangle and select update drivers .

    Plus DriverPacks.net may have the wireless drivers also.

    Have the OEM driver handy, then delete the device and reboot. Windows will reinstall the device and use a generic driver. If that fixes it, stop there. If that doesn't fix it, install the OEM driver. The Toshiba website has always had the drivers I needed.

    ive sorted it out thxs for your replies i found the wireless driver it was the atheros lan downloaded it from the h p support and hey presto wifi came on thxs again for all your suggestions
