your opinion on https everywhere

    I found https everywhere plugin for firefox by pure happenchance... would you qulify it as useful ? trustworthy ? both ?

    I think it Can be harmful for your privacy. Use extensions wisely.

    if I understand correctly what I read from different sources, it should be used with Tor... is this right ?

    No, it just automatically tries to use HTTPS on websites, rather than HTTP. It rewrites requests to http content to get https content if available.
