Hi, This problem affect also: - Z68XP-UD3-iSSD U1A, U1B and U1C bios. - Z68XP-UD3 board U1J bios. - Z8MX-UD2H board unknown bios version. - Z68MA-D2-HB3 board U1C bios. I try to mod the bios of my GA-Z68XP-UD3-iSSD and i've face a problem when i insert modules. I use the method from XpamAmadeus (thanks to him), deleting modules and insert somes. I applied this method on GA-H77n-wifi board without a problem. But for My Z68XP, it seems that this bios behave strangely. under a certain amount of free space (~1660 kB), insert fails because "insufficient space remains to add the file" I use MMTOOL (4.50.023) for inserting, gui and command line. Original rom U1C (Firmware Volume 02) have 8kB free space. I extract COREDXE as uncompressed (1 495 kB) and delete filesystem. It givess me 1534 KB of freespace on Vol 2. When i try to insert with "insert compressed" COREDXE Mmtool Gui gives me "error getting firmware info". MMtool Command line: MMTool.exe u1c-ssdxe-ssfs.rom /i /y 5AE3F37E-4EAE-41AE-8240-35465B5E81EB coredxe-u1c-uncomp 02 ERROR: insufficient space remains to add the file 17088572-377f-44ef-8f4e-b09fff46a070 File Name : 17088572-377f-44ef-8f4e-b09fff46a070 Volume Size Specified : 0x1B0000 bytes Required size : 0x1B8AB0 bytes Error in Saving I have to made room up to 1661 kb of free space to get the insert of COREDXE module. Result after insert : Bytes Free : 1693E3 (1444 KB) If i try then to insert another module 7, 14, 107, 153, 262 or 308 kB uncompressed files. Same problem again with GUI or command line. MMTool.exe u1c-ssdxe-ssfs-sstcpdhcpip4ip4-cdxe.rom /i /y AAE65279-0761-41D1-BA13-4A3C1383603F .\Ozmosis\ozmosis.ffs 02 ERROR: insufficient space remains to add the file 17088572-377f-44ef-8f4e-b09fff46a070 File Name : 17088572-377f-44ef-8f4e-b09fff46a070 Volume Size Specified : 0x1B0000 bytes Required size : 0x1C9E10 bytes Error in Saving I also tried with phoenixtool219 and it reports "no free space to manage modules". Could someone take a look at this Z68 bios and help me to fix it? Couldn't post a link !!! it's on : (http or ftp ) download.gigabyte.ru/bios/mb_bios_ga-z68xp-ud3-issd_u1c.exe Regards.
