If you have the AIO iso, yes, you can use it. If you have in separated iso, the app will not work for it.
Well, in my win8.1aio, the select edition to install screen was broken. I mean, the names were altered, not those meant to layout.
Hello Josh, Great software by the way but I did run into a problem. I have never had an issue with my 32 usb drive till now. I had win 8.1 pro with media center intergrated into it but as 32 bit. I just now tried to put win 8.1 pro with media center 64 bit and it errored on formatting. It then became unrecongnized by windows and couldnt even format it in windows. I am now using hard disk sentinel pro to write zeros to it hoping to get it to format again. I dont know what happened but your software made it unrecongnized where just before I ran your tool I was looking at some files I had on there for personal use I grabbed before tring your tool so I know it was working before hand. I will let you know how it goes after I am done writting zeros to it and try your software again. It worked the first time using it. Anyways will keep you posted on progress.
Well that did not work either...critical error when injecting the boot tag is the error I get. I decided to use your old WinUSB Maker v2.0 PUBLIC BETA RELEASE 2 and it worked without any issues so there is something wrong with the new final version you released.
What are your operating system (with bitness and language also)? And what are your USB device manufacter?
Windows 7 home premium 64 bit English language on a Dell Inspiron n5010 laptop. 32 gig usb drive by EMTEC. I am now running windows 8.1 pro with media center 64 bit. I will be trying it again after Christmas for a friends laptop wanting windows 8.1 pro wmc 32 bit so will post back whether it worked or not since it will now be created on my laptop which is now windows 8.1 pro wmc 64 bit where before it was trying to be created on windows 7 home premium 64 bit. Update: I am now running win 8.1 pro wmc 64 bit as mentioned above and set up same conditions as before but now it seems to be working. So my guess is it might of had an issue with zotac running on win 7 home premium 64 bit. That is the only difference I can find for it is working great on win 8.1. I even have the same apps installed. Thought I would share my findings. Hope it helps.
Want to thank Josh Cells on a wonderful easy to use program. The Zotac Windows USB maker makes it easy on any novice Computer user to make a Bootable USB Windows Vista/7/8/8.1. What I use to make a USB Bootable Windows is SD/SDHC/MMC USB card reader with 16GB SD card. Works wonders with my Windows SuperAIO v3 83-in-1 (7 8 2008r2 2012 8.1 2012r2) SD card.
83 in 1? Did you say it just to brag? Wanna share it? lol jk Thanks Josh, already updated in my Portable folder
Doesn't work. Gives a "critical error when injecting the boot tag". USB is 8 GB. I have Win XP, trying to make a bootable usb with Win 7. It is Win 7 Ultimate (dutch) with eicfg removed.
Same here I'm using Windows 8.1 32 bit iso. The 64bit one works though. Edit: @JoshCell I've found your old WinUSB Maker 1.8 on majorgeeks and it's working. No errors whatsoever.
