A few thoughts: -AMI bios. I thought the DSDT isn't at 1b module... The module 10 is also used to contain DSDT (e.g. Asus P6T deluxe AMI bios) these bioses are different? Would it be possible to transfer the DSDT into that module? -Phoenix bios: It should be possible to relocate the acpi00.AML module. Old style: link out the module, relocate and 'link in' New style: remove it and reinsert it at another place where is more free space. We are introducing the SLIC as separate module. There would be just another step before, to remove the old acpi00.aml module. After that insert the modified acpi.aml module similar to slic. Should work.

These are W7 forums here and it's not about W7 activation only. Since users are using W7 and could be interested in SLI gaming too, I don't know what should be wrong about. And we at MDL haven't got a nvidia forum
I assume it will allow you to use SLI video cards on non-SLI motherboards. Maybe Andy can clarify this for everyone.
Yep, it allows you to run SLI on a mainboard that doesn't work with SLI but has 2 x pce 16 slots such as a Gigabyte P35-DS4 which is the one currectly tested as working.
It would be useful for those that like the benefits of certain motherboards but don't want to use crossfire. I for one do not like crossfire always liked using SLI. But i'd like to see how well this project progresses, if i get a Gigabyte mobo i'll give it a shot. If i get one it will be a GA-MA790FXT-UD5P.
LOL nice work guys...I remember hearing about such things a long time ago and they never amounted to much. Maybe if the method gets perfected and more people are willing to try it, I could give it a go. This could potentially increase the lifespan of my system by a long time. I run a rampage formula, which is crossfire only, but assuming I got SLI to work on it, I could add a second gtx285 and get another 6-12 months out of it. I might do this just for the hell of it, right before I start a new build, which will be i7/i9 anyway, so once I'm ready to buy a new mobo I wouldn't have anything to lose by trying this.
we'll know in a few days if you'll be able to do your rampage formula, Andy is working hard to get an AMI method working.
