is it installed on UEFI with GPT disk ? DAZ loader does not allow to emulate slic on bios using GPT disk so if your win7 premium edition is installed on GPT disk, i would suggest to format but you will have to disable UEFI in the bios and enable Legacy/bios or you can choose to upgrade to another higher edtion as pro.
I dont know, I just erased all the partitions and installed with my pendrive (I used rufus) directly on the blank space, kinda noob about this. My motherboard is asrock h61m-dgs
I don't want to clutter this thread with win 7 stuff, here you can find what you can do, to activate 7 on a UEFI install: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/guide-activate-windows-7-on-pcs-with-uefi.61595/
i am pretty sure that you have installed your win7 on GPT disk so if you don't want to reinstall it on MBR disk, you can choose to upgrade to win7 pro then you will be able to use kms tools for the activation.
Yes, I had some time to research and that is the reason. I prefer to upgrade to win7 pro (I understand the other solution but i dont know how to do it), is there a guide for that?
On what windows 7 edition are you now? I saw Homepremium. When on basic or home, you simply use anytime upgrade and enter the oem:slp for Pro, it will do an upgrade, when you are on Pro* you can use KMS_VL_ALL by @abbodi1406 to KMS activate the install on UEFI. OEM:SLP keys can be found in the keys.ini file from DAZ Windows Loader.
easy, right click "computer" => properties => click "get more feature with a new edition of windows" => chose "enter an upgrade product key" , and add this generic key: HYF8J-CVRMY-CM74G-RPHKF-PW487 then next. that's all.
MSEdgeUpdater v0.2 - Updated NSudoC.exe - Added support for Enterprise 2016 LTSB (14393) i actually didn't have any EnterpriseS 14393 iso to test, but logically it should be the same as 17763 i'll appreciate it if someone can kindly verify that
Dear abbodi1406, Hope you're doing well. So, what about something like MSEdgeRemover as well? This may be more like a personal interest, but because I do not use Cortana/Microsoft Store/Store apps/Microsoft Edge, I want to remove them as in Windows 10 LTSC. Yes, of course I can use LTSC, but I'm not interesting KMS activation and would like to keep using my digital license. So any safe way for doing this, as they're not in LTSC? Thanks.
Cortana is in LTSC, but it's disabled by product policy removing it from any edition will break search and cumulative updates among other things it's easier to prevent registring system apps with this method: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1307366/
Yes. I see. I knew the CU issue. Probably have to deal with LTSC after all. Thanks anyway. BTW your ISO create CMD script is awesome
Maybe he means this https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/abbodi1406s-batch-scripts-repo.74197/page-25#post-1478839
Yeah... It's just awesome. Well, So it won't work on already installed copy of Windows 10. Any way so far?
