Activate Windows 7 Embedded Permanently?

Where the hell is the button to create a new topic?
I only have a small question. Is it possible to activate Windows Embedded Standard 7 after installation or do i have to do it within the oobe menues?
I installed a key and but windows is still shutting down every ~25minutes. Guess its an anti piracy thing.

 

No,
you cannot activate an already installed evaluation image using a valid key.
The key has to be entered in OOBE during setup or provided in an answer file when deploying an image
(using Image Configuration Editor, for example).
(Even though it will appear to work, the OS will reboot every 20 minutes if you do change the installed key).

Sorry to walk into a topic that isn't mine, but even reading it i'm not fully understanding parts of it (but wanted to).

#1 is there any good reason to want Windows 7 Embedded or derivatives (POSready i guess) at all? (other than the option for extended support, but I thought there was a way around that https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-extended-security-updates-eligibility.80606/ ) Like do they come with software that cant be backported or put on a normal win7 desktop install?

#2 even reading the thread I cant quite parse, other than DAZ loader wont activate embedded and KMS4All apparently activates only 180 days(?), but there's a Magic Serial Number which can let you make either win7 embedded or POSready work?

 

KMS_VL_ALL has options to automatically renew the license periodically.
( For any other queries related to that tool, head to it's thread )

If the magical serial number is entered during the installation, the installation would complete without any difficulty & will be activated permanently on its own!

That looks the same crap as REMOVEWAT would do, not activating anything.
