    Sorry about my dumbness question, but what exactly is the purpose of a modded bios? I mean.. Does it unlock some features/white-list options?
    I'm asking this because I have and old Dell Optiplex 780 (C2D e8500) that I would like to overclock. Is that possible modding its bios?
