seems to have run into a bit of a problem here . did i have to flash with the original bios and then the mod ? cos after a restart everything seemed ok windows activated and so on but after the next restart i get this message on startup . this bios is exclusively for Acer only R01-B0 , and cant even get into bios . doesnt move on beyond this point . some advice needed . first time this has happened this is the bios in question https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/award-ami-bios-mod-requests.5863/page-976#post-315516
1. official R01-B0 was flashed successfully ? 2. turn off the PC and reset the bios by a jumper on motherboard
bios flashed successfully , going to see if i can find the jumper , bieng looking but cant seem to find it . gonna check again .
bios flashed successfully . bios reset by jumper on motherboard and also by removing battery and shorting the points . problem is that i can go into the bios the first time and on reboot i get the message that this is not an exclusiely acer bios . dont know what to do now . any help would be greatly appreciated . is it possible to boot from dos , once i have resetted the bios again , and update the bios again . note that the previous bios update was done from within windows
