    Thanks a lot. That indeed helped me to revive my old HP Pavilion computer.

    Might be interesting: If you flash the BIOS using the AFUWIN utility, the SLIC table will still appear as version 2.0 in RWEverything.
    It only gets updated once you have rebooted the computer.
