what tool did you use? mmtool? or something else? and which files did you import for the mod? please and thank you! just need to know so I don't have to keep bugging you.
@wooozie69 1. That key is used for signing the firmware; that has nothing to do with Windows. 2. Any SLIC can be added, even 2.4 which is good for activating newer Server SKUs. 3. You need to install matching cert with the SLIC and SKU specific OEM:SLP key, thus a standard MSDN ISO is enough.
But when I choose Dell instead of Asus in Phoenix Tool, I can't choose a Key file. It doesn't allow me to do. @Tito
The Manufacturer should be Asus - don't change that. Just select SLIC according to your choice & pick the key, which is only visible if the chosen method is New Module.
OK, thanks. I just gave up from Dell and used Asus SLIC 2.1. Just flashed new SLIC BIOS without any problem. Then I used a 7 Professional OEM cretificate and a SLP key to active. No my copy of 7 is activated successfully. Thanks, @Tito
