Thank you very much. Have a question is the rom file already complete or do I still need to add oem, slic 2.1 & cert, and in what order do I run exe files. Sorry did explain I was new.

 

unpack "Sony VGN-NW11SR-(S)_R0180Y4_Sony21_Dyn.rar" file, and run WBFLASH.exe as Administrator
( or runAFUWIN.exe R0180Y4.ROM /P )
reboot
and install Sony 2.1 Cert. & proper OEM:SLP key for your Win7 installation

Размер версии FD - 2Mb (FC - 1Mb), поэтому пришлось обновлять через утилиту @bios из под Windows.
СПАСИБО !!!

 

I followed your suggestions: WBFlash returned "bios is current no update needed" and Afuwin opened but crashed if I pressed any key. Also tried to boot from USB using Rufus, Afudos and ROM but it returned Write Protected.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
