as far as i know, when you get slic 2.1 in your machine, you can install any win7 edition you want, all you will have to do is run daz loader and you will get your win7 edition immediately activated as the loader will install both certificate and oem:slp license key.

Much appreciated for the reply. Will the license be stored permanently after first activation? Or do I need to run DAZ loader every time when I perform a re installation?

it will remain permanent as long as you don't reinstall windows 7.
in case you decide to reinstall win7, you will have to run again daz loader for the activation.

I see. But then what is the necessity of modding BIOS, if I need to run DAZ loader every time?

Modding the bios with slic 2.1 is needed for people who want to install win7 on UEFI as daz loader does normally work only on MBR disk but you can make it work on GPT disk as well by injecting slic 2.1 into the bios and thus in this case modding the bios will allow to get win7 activated with daz on UEFI with GPT disk.
