Hello. I don't know why, but I don't have the option to make a new thread, so I would ask a moderator if he can make this post a new thread (Thanks). (Title) Strange bios behavior, it does not refresh boot devices. The motherboard is gigabytes GA-H87-D3H and the problem is as follows. The latest version of the bios is F10, which I just updated. I have a Bios and UEFI bootable usb memory stick. The bios sees all the connected devices correctly, including the usb stick: 1. UEFI: KingstonDataTraveler 3.01.00 2. KingstonDataTraveler 3.01.00 If I take the stick out of the usb, it doesn't see it anymore and it only shows me the hdd which is correct. After booting a few times using UEFI: KingstonDataTraveler 3.01.00 the following problem occurs. The bios no longer detects new devices for UEFI mode, but remembers even if it is not connected "UEFI: KingstonDataTraveler 3.01.00". So if I connect another stick that it should normally detect as: 1. UEFI: JetFlashTranscend 1100 2. JetFlashTranscend 1100 It actually shows / detects the following: 1. UEFI: KingstonDataTraveler 3.01.00 2. JetFlashTranscend 1100 Therefore, I can no longer boot from new devices in uefi mode because it no longer detects them and remembers the old / first stick used. If I re-flash the bios to the same version or even an older version F9, F8, things return to normal and work properly, but the problem still reappears after using a stick a few times. What could it be. Does anyone have any ideas for a solution? Thanks.
Super, thank you for explanation- in my previous bios was there version 2.0 and I didn't know that SLIC is upgraded with BIOS too.
