Hello, I am new to this slic thing. I have Supermicro X11SCL-IF.

What do I need to get slic 2.6 working on this board? Board is brand new if that makes a difference.

BTW Serg008 I had to use older bios(2802) in order to get flashrom tool to work. Would not work on latest bios(4021). FYI

Just wanted to say - it's easier than that normally: just tested on 3 boards: Asus Prime Z590, Z390 and Z170 and just erasing (with AptioV Windows flasher) "non-critical block #2" (of 6) as per Guide removes SLIC only. Just did it now to remove SLIC 2.5. With PhoenixTool you can add SLIC 2.6 to official BIOS very easily and flash.

The only one different is the Asus X299-A whose BIOS seems to have more critical blocks and SLIC is not #2; last time I just erased them all (!) rather than trying one-by-one as I should have - which erased too much. Perhaps your X570 is similar thus you had all this trouble?

But I personally much prefer Asus as SLIC can be added without bothering Serg ;) and SLIC remains across updates.

Anyway just wanted to say that the Guide does work for most boards to erase SLIC - but there are some boards a little different.
