@sid_16, in case you missed it: I'd like to report a bug: Satya Nadella. Also, 1803 is full of bugs that was pushed out in patched-alpha pseudo-beta stage (I know I'm stating the obvious). I refuse to run it in anything but a virtual machine. But don't worry! It'll be fixed in time for 1809! Windows 10 is pissing me off.
When selecting the default Web Browser only IE and Edge are in the list. Can only chose with default apps by protocol. Every second boot my registered fingerprint in Windows Hello vanishes so I have to register it again. When chosing a picture for the lock screen, it does not display at boot, always the same picture from spotlight is displayed. At every boot 1803 forgets the audio settings. 1709 is rock stable for me. Fortunately I installed it only on 3 of lesser used my machines. Well, it went the update route by WU.
I use foobar2000 1.4 Beta12 and I have no issues. Audio is flawless. You might simply need to reinstall some drivers, especially if you did an upgrade, in which case, I'd simply just do a clean install instead. Already seen a lot of issues for people using the WU process, like failing to update, failing to access specific folders afterwards and so on. I'd never trust the update process for an OS :\
I've found that Glary provided inaccurate random 'Windows Boot Time' readings well before 1803. I'm willing to bet that if you uninstall(including settings)/reinstall Glary that it will give you a more accurate reading...until it doesn't. Using a kitchen timer is more consistent than Glary Pro.
No i dont have any other problems, this is a clean install. I already tested with others audio players and no problem. With build 1709 i didnt have any problems, i can say this build suck..
Here is the fix for 1803. Spoiler: SEE PC NETWORK FIX You need to set two services to automatic (delayed start): Function Discovery Provider Host Function Discovery Resource Publication Thanks to ACCESS DENIED (Ten forums)
I'm having slow down problem on the login screen upon start up. The login screen after the lock screen go away is slower to come out than 1709. Anyone facing the same problem?
I to was having issue's with the April update, nothing I could point to but it was just not as crisp and did not play well with other programs, they worked, but just not as well as I expected, what bothered me most was mouse & Keyboard losing connectivity for just 2 or 3 seconds very often. Well yesterday reinstalled 1803 and now all works fine, I have no ideal why, anyway patch Tuesday is almost upon us, so do not say it can't get worse, lol. Pray and maybe the Microsoft Gods will fix all your bugs until you reboot, lol
after a fresh install this windows nuke my Samsung 960 pro NVMe drive or I can't say maybe samsung side faulty
I've a 10 year old Acer Travelmate 6292 laptop with C2D T7500 & 4GB RAM. No problem running Win10 build 10240, 10586 and 14393 but since Creator Updates, I'm unable to fresh install or upgrade to the new build... alway BSOD during upgrade. For the latest April 2018 Update, during fresh install and after "Getting Ready" message... it stuck at Win logo and Spinning Circle and finally BSOD with stop code: Driver PNP Watchdog. Anyone have any info on this error message ?
