Hi, Sorry for nagging but I have an issue with Windows Server 2012 R2 (in-place upgraded from Windows Server 2008 R2). I've installed all regular updates, then ran LiveOS-Setup.cmd. It shows that SuperUser64.exe crashes, but the script allowed me to proceed anyway. Installed ESU suppressor, rebooted just in case. Ran LiveOS-Setup.cmd again to be sure, SuperUser64.exe crashes again but it still proceeds. The install option is no longer there (but neither is the remove option, just exit is available). Running update checks and it shows no updates available. Am I missing anything? Thanks. EDIT: Nvm I'm an idiot, did not see the reg key I needed to add.
That's interesting and I just checked and NT6.2 also got Year 4 and 5 licenses ! Kinda strange though why they didn't include Year 6 as well, even if it ends up just being a placeholder.
Hello, I usually do these posts when I am about to sleep, after everything is tested, so a few typos happen sometimes. Thanks for letting me know. From your message, 1 and 3 are fixed, as they were pretty obvious, and only typographical cosmetic mistakes that don't impact the actual execution of the tutorial. I have to point a mistake for you at 2, I think the text within my last spoiler is correct: From your screenshot, as of current status, you can uninstall: Internet Explorer KB5066840 (2025-10), and Internet Explorer KB5075944 (2026-02). Please advice. My two cents. Thank you.
No worries, It's all good! I understand you were sleepy while typing and testing. But thanks for letting me know about those old suspended Internet Explorer 11 updates that need to be uninstalled. For your two cents. No problem.
hello everyone, what was the best baseline for 8.1 now? i mean /resetbase after which package? kb2919355? kb5012670? kb5053887? kb5061018?
I believe it still is kb5012670 https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/bypass-esu-blue.86548/page-24#post-1884313 https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/bypass-esu-blue.86548/page-24#post-1884404 https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/bypass-esu-blue.86548/page-24#post-1884431
THX master apoly, i knew your point, but AI copilot don't buy these. she told me just some Words of experience: "Regarding KB5012670 being the "ESU era baseline," "not to be superseded," and "ResetBase will break subsequent LCU"—these statements are not facts in Microsoft's official documentation but are speculations within the tech community." AI Grok with her too. and master NewEraCracker already said "P.S.: I believe one could do this procedure on 2025-03 baseline: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1889546 ; I did it on a 2024-12 baseline Windows 8.1 Virtual Machine."(https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/bypass-esu-blue.86548/page-30#post-1894720) BTW, I Have Already checked three WIN 8.1 2025.06 FIANAL ISO(BY three MASTERS include fch1993), none of them Inject KB5012670.
There is no 100% perfect solution to this anyway and then there's also people that recommend avoiding ResetBase alltogether You need to test for yourself and see what works best for you
@NewEraCracker Just a suggestion, but have you perhaps thought about creating your own thread for your project? This could help give it more visbility and have all the necessary information in one big first post. With the help of moderators it should also get stickied quickly.
