nope . just used embedded enterprise version with your esu update till 26-03 . Sysprep and made it to single wim file . the installation failed but restored wim file without setup it runs well

I have Windows Server 2012 R2 patched to April 2026 (KB5082126) running on my main PC (X99 motherboard / i7 6900K), via the use of Bypass ESU Blue. When I attempted to patch it manually to either July 2026 (KB5099444) or August 2026 (KB5102385) (after first installing the July 2026 SSU KB5106412), the cumulative updates appeared to install successfully. However, a nasty surprise came when I restarted the computer. Windows Server 2012 R2 crashed totally soon after startup with a System Thread Exception not Handled BSOD. Not even Safe Mode could start, it crashed with the same BSOD. It is not a hardware problem as far as I can see, as I also have Windows Server 2008 R2 (patched to December 2025) and multiple language versions of Windows 10 1809 LTSC and Windows Server 2019 (patched to August 2026) running normally on the same computer. I have since restored the previous working image backup of 2012 R2 (April 2026) and it is back running normally. I have not tried the June 2026 cumulative update KB5094041 yet. I have no idea what the differences are between KB5094041 / KB5099444 / KB5102385 and KB5082126 that cause Windows Server 2012 R2 to suffer such a total crash on my computer. Update 1 : I have tested KB5099444 / KB5102385 on a 2012 R2 VMware virtual machine patched to the end of regular support, and with the help of Bypass ESU Blue both updates can be installed and the system restarted successfully, so the update files themselves are fine. At this point I am guessing it is a driver conflict, but I have no idea which. Update 2 : Tried to install the June 2026 cumulative update KB5094041 and after an apparently successful install, the same BSOD occurred again after restart.
So all 3 updates KB5094041 / KB5099444 / KB5102385 failed with the same System Thread Exception not Handled BSOD after restart when installed on Windows Server 2012 R2 on my main PC. Windows Server 2012 R2 will be left at April 2026 patch level at this point and as I have other more important things to deal with I have put this aside for the time being. But I welcome any useful suggestions to help me diagnose the problem.
Windows Server 2012 R2 with bypass esu blue and reg key arcesu installed me all August 2026 via WU normally.
