Well IMO, unlike W10, in W8.1/2012R2 makes sense to have an updated ISO, given the amount of non cumulative updates involved and the time needed to go from update3 isos to a fully updated system. Then personally, you know, I use ISOs just for rare cases I need to fix an installation via in place upgrade. For the rest VHDXs are all I need.
I don't know what 'wim-integration.cmd' is. And what does connect esu suppressor and wim-integration.cmd ? I guess that esu suppressor is 'Bypass ESU Blue' like 'bypass' for win7.
Windows 8.1 Pro x64 with ESU Blue user. Firstly, many thanks to the guru's for ESU Blue, I haven't had a problem with it since February and is fully patched.(last being the out of band NET4.8 kb5028585) and has been a solid performer with no system file integrity errors. Although, earlier today, after switching on the system, I proceeded to update M$ Defender and was hit with this error pop-up whilst online. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Virus and Spyware definitions couldn't be updated. This application couldn't check for virus and spyware definition updates. Check your internet or network connection and try again. Error code. 0x80072f8f ----------------------------------------------------------------------- I WAS connected online at the time and had full internet access, so what gives? Have MSFT goofed a delta patch or changed something?
It probably will not work, if they block Client version ESU Suppressor + dism.exe + cab file will mostly work
MS Will Notify the EOS of these two Server Versions for users. And, I think the name of this thread should be changed to "Bypass ESU 8 and Blue"
