I had installed v4 lite and installed February updates. I dl'ed 5 and only get option 3. How can I get option 1?
One solution that has always worked for me to avoid these WU errors is to enter in the system in Safe Mode, completely delete Softwaredistribution subfolder inside the main Windows folder, restart and retest a WU search again. Do not fear that nothing happens by deleting Softwaredistribution. 90% of the time the problem of those errors are solved forever.
When you already have KB528069 installed successfully, then you have all good to go, if you want WU to offer ESU updates you can use v5 and install the WU ESU patcher and the ESU Licensing Preparation update.
can someone make a video tutorial? it would be much easier to spread the word to people who love Windows 7 and who would like to keep using them.

The only update you need to install manually is ONE MSU (after the WU patcher is installed), just doubleclick it and it will run and install itself, and WU will install the ESU updates. I would NOT advise to install homebrew ISOs from unknown sources on the web.
