Moin @ All! Just successfully patched 3 Windows 7 Pro SP1 x64 systems with KB4540671, KB4541500 and KB4550735. "Licensing method": KB4528069 & BypassESU-v4.7z Windows 7 will never die... never ever! ^^ (edited due to #2234)
Well, much like the majority of everyone here, when I got on my Win7 computer today, I saw that there was two updates waiting: the March monthly roll-up and March's MSRT. So, I went through and took care of those two. Had to restart to finish the install. Then, I saw another update waiting, which turned out to be March's SSU. So, I proceeded to take care of that as well. So now, I'm once again up to date on Windows Updates, at least until next month (April)'s updates. In conclusion, I'd like to say thank you to the team that's developed the bypass so that us consumers can get 3 more years of Windows Updates, as well as those here on the forum helping everyone to make sure the right software is installed to be able to get thee 3 more years of updates.
2020-03 Security Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows 7 (KB4540688) 2020-03 Security Only Quality Update for Windows 7 (KB4541500)
I'm still using v4 and have installed March ESU do I need update kB4537829 installed in order to get updates for April i didn't install it as some were saying they had problems with this update
You already have SSU KB4537829 installed else the march updates shouldn't have installed, and SSU KB4550735 is now needed for the April updates.
that's strange, how could you be able to install march security ESU without the feb SSU KB4537829 being installed ? March security ESU updates cannot be installed without KB4537829. Are you sure you installed March security ESU updates ? Which march updates did you exactly install ?
using either esu bypass v4 or v5 on Win7 home premium ends in failure - KB4528069 cannot be installed on there as it repeatedly fails to install (and hence the bypass doesn't work) guess I'm gonna have to upgrade the Win7 edition on his laptop to at least Pro
you have both march rollup KB4540688 and SSU KB4550735 installed, which means that KB4537829 is already installed on your machine. Check the installed updates list and you will find that KB4537829 is there.
So, you installed both, the rollup, and the two separate updates which were already installed when installing the rollup.
Can you show the exact error message? Because in some cases configroot is not set correctly and the script can't find the cab file. ps, this post is based on Premium with v5 installed: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...dates-eligibility.80606/page-109#post-1583289
Make sure that these 3 pre-requisite updates are installed on your machine before installing the bypass then KB4528069 KB4490628 KB4474419 KB4536952 if they are not installed, install them in this order : KB4490628 -> KB4474419 -> reboot -> KB4536952
@erpsterm35 You can also take a look at first post, @abbodi1406 has listed all the prerequisite updates that have to be installed on the machine before installing the bypass.
All is working with March updates. I want to thank the developers from the bottom of my heart. I also appreciate all the posts on this forum for we all learn from each other. This forum is a bright spot of the internet. Keep on with all the great work!
