Don't forget to install KB4538483 too which is needed to receive ESU through WU.

  2. That's fair enough.

Now, I shall look forward to the April updates and from then, the cycle shall continue until the end :)

If you already tried the reboot and re-ran WU, you can do this:

KB4540688 = the complete Security Monthly Quality Rollup, it includes all updates except the SSU, SSU will be offered on WU when all important updates are installed/hidden.

    I'm using Bypass v4 and I manually installed KB4540688 and KB4550735 on Windows 7 Ultimate x64.
    Everything looks OK. Thanks.

same here - esu bypass v4 still working, even with KB4550735 and KB4540688 updates installed & also running Win7 Ultimate x64 (KB4528069 remains installed along with KB4538483 of course). :D
I'll need to test them on my bro's laptop running Win7 Home Premium X64 later on

no new .net update for win7, not since Jan 2020

v4 still works because it was used to install the actual ESU check suppressor kb..069, after that update is installed no need for any bypass anymore, only for the new WU Patcher feature v5 is needed.

Well, much like the majority of everyone here, when I got on my Win7 computer today, I saw that there was two updates waiting: the March monthly roll-up and March's MSRT. So, I went through and took care of those two. Had to restart to finish the install. Then, I saw another update waiting, which turned out to be March's SSU. So, I proceeded to take care of that as well.

So now, I'm once again up to date on Windows Updates, at least until next month (April)'s updates.

In conclusion, I'd like to say thank you to the team that's developed the bypass so that us consumers can get 3 more years of Windows Updates, as well as those here on the forum helping everyone to make sure the right software is installed to be able to get thee 3 more years of updates.
