I saw that post but no download link is there, the 1st post of this thread is better, but it was updated late after I saw it
The updates are all in the Tutorial+ESU updates overview with download links. if you've used v4 as instructed then v5 will only offer the WU patcher as addition to v4.
I have 2 Win 7 systems, desktop and laptop. Both had v4 installed. I made sure ALL prereq's were installed on both machines and rebooted afterwards Laptop, I run v5, I only get option 3. I install option 3, and everything works great through WU Desktop, I run v5, and I have options 1 and 3 available. I try to install 1, and get an error: Installing ESU Suppressor . . . Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool Version: 6.1.7601.24499 Image Version: 6.1.7601.24499 [================== 31.6% ] Error: 1460 This operation returned because the timeout period expired. The DISM log file can be found at C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log ==== ERROR ==== Failed installing KB4528069 Package. restart the system and try again. Press any key to exit. Any ideas how to fix?
If v4 is used as instructed, the v5 version will only offer to install the WU patcher, because kb..069 (the actual ESU check suppressor) is already installed. Not seen that error before, afaik.
v5 installed w/o issue, received all updates (kb4540688, kb4550735, and kb890830) via WU as expected thank-you guys
so i selected the full installation of "BypassESU v5 AIO" and have all the prerequisites installed. Windows Update detected the March Service Stack Update and the Quality Rollup update... but not "Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 7 for x64-based systems (KB4540671)" and "Security Only Quality Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB4541500)" ... when downloading these 2 KB files from MS catalog they can still be manually installed any ideas?
Hi, With KB4528069 lite installed in WU I receive the following updates: Windows x64 Malicious Software Removal Tool - March 2020 (KB890830) while in Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 update history, March 10, 2020 — KB4541500 (Security-only update) and March 10, 2020 — KB4540688 (Monthly Rollup) are expected and currently I have manually installed only KB4540688 Which of these updates should be installed manually? Since I don't have installed SSU KB4550735 (Servicing stack update for Windows 7 SP1: March 10, 2020), does it have to be installed manually and must it be replaced for each month? Thank you
On a whim I deleted the v5 I had downloaded and re-downloaded it from this site, re-ran it, and it worked. All patched So for April everything should be in place, assuming Microsoft doesn't change anything?
On both of my computers I had to do a reboot after installing the v5 AIO for WU to find more than just the malicous removal tool. (I think they offer MRT.exe to everyone anyways) Then running WU finds the Cum update.
Quality Rollup always contains "Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 11". WU does not/never has offered Security Only Quality Update updates. For security only you have to manually download along with the Explorer 11 update.
if this is the case, why does it still allow me to install these 2 KB files manually if its meant to be included in the rollup (rollup has already successfully been installed). Other user posts in this thread are saying that all the KB updates (3 total) are being detected for them in Windows Update but not for me
I don't know where you read that. There are only 2 kinds of updates, Quality Rollup OR Security only + the patch for IE11 You don't have to install both.
Can you change your signature? It's not my Bypass, it's made by @abbodi1406 & IMI-Kurwica team, i only beta-test and explain stuff, please add the word "tutorial" to it (ESU Bypass Tutorial made easy by.....)
I apologize in advance if the question has already been posed, but the thread has been difficult to follow over time due to the increasing number of posts, especially after a pause of some days. My question: is the February 2020 Servicing Stack Update KB4537829 needed to *manually* install the March ESU updates (in particular, the monthly rollup KB4540688)? In my case, ESU test update KB4528069 was first installed thanks to bypass-v4 (which has been removed after installing KB4528069), followed by February 2020 ESU updates KB4537813 and KB4537820.
Question to abbodi1406: in "Scheduled tasks", there's a new task "Patches WU for ESU -> %SystemRoot%\WuEsu\PatchWU.cmd" which runs on every system-startup. Is it still required after Bypass v5 was successfully installed? Or can this task be deleted? regards Matthias
I had no problem updating my Desktop PC & Notebook running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit in February with the V4 bypass tool. I am having trouble updating for March updates. I am using the V5 bypass tool. I was able to do all the updates on both my Desktop PC & Notebook including the March service stack except the March cumulative quality updates. It first installs great and almost finishes. But toward the end it reverts back to the February cumulative updates. On my Desktop PC when I right click administrate on Live OS Setup & right click on Win-Integr it says Error Required file bin\sle64.dll is missing. On my Notebook when I right click on these two it is blank. Can someone please kindly detail out to me what I need to do on both my Desktop PC & Notebook to fix this so I can download the March cumulative quality updates. I am running Bitdefender Total Security 2020 & Malwarebytes Premium. Do I need to uninstall these in order for the v5 bypass tool to work. In v4 bypass tool I did not have to uninstall my two security's suites I currently have in order for this to work. Please advise? Any help to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated. I do not want to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro since I do not like it.
