Slight problem for me, I've been using KB4528069-Lite with no issues until this month but I'm now unable to install July's Security Only Quality Update (KB4565539). So I downloaded BypassESU-v7-AIO and I have all prerequisites including this month's servicing stack update (KB4565354), the only thing I don't have is "KB4538483: ESU Licensing Preparation Package" as I don't require WU updates. However when running LiveOS-Setup.cmd I'm only offered option 3 (Install WU ESU Patcher) and option 7 (Install .NET 4 ESU Bypass), I don't get option 1 (Full Installation) or option 2 (Install ESU Suppressor), option 2 is what I want for manual security only updates, any advice? Thank you
Bypass V7 used here. Using WU went OK, but KB4566617 (NET) wouldn't install. Tried again by switching off the Avast shields (right click: Disable till next restart) and this time KB4566617 installed without any problems Once again; Thanks Abbodi and team for the succesfull Bypass ! By now It's doing it's job for half a year !!
Moin @ All! My July 2020 ESUpdate experience for Windows 7 Pro SP1 x64 systems: KB4565479 (Cumulative Security Update for IE 11 for Windows 7 x64) -> succesfully installed KB4565539 (Security Only Quality Update for Windows 7 x64) -> succesfully installed KB4565579 (Security Only Update for .NET Framework 3.5.1) -> succesfully installed KB4565589 (Security Only Update for .NET Framework 4.8) -> succesfully installed with the help of the .NET 4 ESU Bypass solution from BypassESU-v7-AIO KB4565354 (Servicing Stack Update for Windows 7 x64) -> succesfully installed "Licensing method": KB4528069 & BypassESU-v4.7z @ abbodi1406 & Co: Thx for your support! Great job!
Please, switching off the Avast shields (right click: Disable till next restart) and this time KB4566617 installed without any problems.
I succeeded too ! No more V4 , now I have V7. And the NETFramework update worked (I had to stop my antivirus AVG) I am still in the game ! Have a good day !
Hello,KB4566517 wouldn't install with v.4,5 and 6,giving me a 643 error.I then switched to v.7 and it installed like in a dream. Stack update KB4565354 was delivered right after. Grateful thanks as usual ! PS: oh,and I forgot to mention that the IE11 Security Rollup was not offered this month.Possibly because I installed Edge ?
Everything went well as it does every month but I didn't get IE11 either and I don't have edge. I installed it manually.
Thank you, i tried several times and always the Net Framework update failed. Than removed the ESU update patcher and Net Framework Bypass and reinstalled them. Than stoped my AVG and it WORKED. Thanks
IMO it's pretty annoying that lots of people keep posting the same story about AVG and that it works etc. Posting a new problem and fix for a certain problem once is enough
IE11 package only has to be installed if you install Security-only (Group B). IE11 cumulative package is included in the full Rollup!
All the updates installed fine under bypass v4 with the exception of the .net patch. Had to uninstall v4, reboot, then install v7 w/ .net bypass to get that one to work. I never even installed KB4562030 (the June SSU) and whatever ESU update was also issued that month. Thank you once again to everyone that helped make this possible. Oh well, at least now I should be able to use WU instead of downloading everything manually. I'll probably end up doing it manually anyway instead of trusting whatever the WU servers deliver, especially these days. It would be trivial to serve malicious updates to certain users based on license keys, hardware IDs, IP address, etc. Now if only they could get manually installed .net hotfixes to appear in the WU update history. That would be nice lol.
Same issue. Any manual solutions for Bypass-Lite users? I had no issues installing everything else so far and i dont want use any other bypasses. Can someone extract new ESU_LOCK key? I dont have any AV installed.
Same as with others I was using BypassESU-v7, and KB4566517 (July .Net Rollup) was failing, despite having the .Net bypass installed. Nothing to do with my AV though as I use Norton. Simply followed recommendations and uninstalled both the .Net bypass and BypassESUv7, then reinstalled both, and then the update worked just fine. How strange.
My neighbor still has ancient PC and its CPU cannot accept MS Windows 10 OS, so till further time, my neighbor is still on MS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 OS... Now, in in the mid of April of this year and after the manual and all Prerequisites installations required here (originated via Page 1 of this MDL Thread right here), for the first time ever, I install on this of my neighbor's PC, the "BypassESU-v5-AIO", and its Full installation here... Everything went fine with that, it install all the MS Updates regularly, all the way til May 13 2020, when he had problem with "2020-05 Security and Quality Rollup for .NET Framework 3.5.1, 4.5.2, 4.6, 4.6.1, 4.6.2, 4.7, 4.7.1, 4.7.2, 4.8 for Windows 7 for x64 (KB4556399)". Luckily, I was able to fix that with the great and thankful solution (the "dotNetFx4_ESU_Installer.cmd"), originated from Page 150 & 157 on this MDL Thread right here... After that, no problem at all with any newer MS Updates, until today's "2020-07 Security and Quality Rollup for .NET Framework 3.5.1, 4.5.2, 4.6, 4.6.1, 4.6.2, 4.7, 4.7.1, 4.7.2, 4.8 for Windows 7 for x64 (KB4566517)". Now, I was able to fix today even that, on the way that I temporary disabled the AV, and within shorter root folder, extrapolate all from "BypassESU-v5-AIO" package, and Run from here & with the Admin privileges, the "LiveOS-Setup.cmd" file... He offer me to "Remove WU ESU Patcher", so I done that, and during that removing process, he removes everything successfully, but he reported the "Access is denied" message on removing the "C:\Windows\System32\sle.dll" file (?) Nevertheless, I rebooted the PC then, and after that, I again temporary disabled the AV, and within shorter root folder, extrapolate all from "BypassESU-v7-AIO" package, and Run from here & with the Admin privileges, the "LiveOS-Setup.cmd" file... He then offer me to "Install WU ESU Patcher" or to "Install .NET 4 ESU Bypass". I pick up to "Install WU ESU Patcher", and soon after that, the installation problem "2020-07 Security and Quality Rollup for .NET Framework 3.5.1, 4.5.2, 4.6, 4.6.1, 4.6.2, 4.7, 4.7.1, 4.7.2, 4.8 for Windows 7 for x64 (KB4566517)" was fixed instantly! I presume that this is OK procedure and that I did not miss something... An again, this is a really thorough and most detailed procedure now, for some other MDL members that breaks their head of, how to solve this buggy MS .NET Framework issues in generally and within MS Win 7 ESU system... Good luck to all!
